Story of Koyelaanchal
Koyelaanchal unveils itself through Saryu Bhan Singh (Vinod Khanna), Associate in Nursing ex-owner turned Mafioso of the region, United Nations agency through his sheer brutality & blatant defiance of law of the land, forces the folks & the authorities to acknowledge him as their ‘maalik’. Any protest, any voice of dissent against him isprohibited spine chilling violence of epic proportions.
Things get somewhat tough to handle for Saryu Bhan Singh once Associate in Nursing upright District Collector Nisheeth Kumar (Suniel Shetty) takes charge of the region and starts raiseing him queries that nobody dared ask him before. Caught amidst labor revolts & naxal uprisings, the last item Saryu Bhan Singh needed was to create enemies with the highest government officer of his region. He sends his most fatal human weapon, Karua (Vipinno) to scare Nisheeth Kumar off to silence.
But the mission don’t-kill-just-scare-him goes awfully wrong once Karua finally ends up fatally injuring Nisheeth’swoman. What happens hereafter tells an exciting & heart-rending story of however the $64000 power doesn’tinvariably flow through the barrels of guns however through the tender touches of a toddler, love of a mother &earnest prayers of the misfortunate millions.
