The story (writtten by Vikas Kadam) of Viti Dandu is about fondness between granddad Daji and grandson Govind occurring in preindependence time, in a remotest town called Morgaon. Daji (Dilip Prabhavalkar) is a peace cherishing gushing granddad, continually tossing defensive wings around his grandson Govind (Nishant Bhavsar), basically on the grounds that his just child and girl in law were murdered by hardhearted British authorities remorselessly, for their inclusion in India’s battle for flexibility.
The granddad bears villager’s insults of being called “chamcha” of Britishers, on the grounds that he is agonized over his grandson’s future in British Raj. When, while going to police headquarters, Govind witnesses villagers getting whipped by “Gora” ( The name utilized by a progressive played by Ashok Samarth in the film,) and he continues addressing Daji about it. To occupy his psyche Daji offers to play Viti Dandu with Govind, who loves playing that hugely. While playing, an unequivocally hit Viti hits a bystander on head, who happens to be the British officer, enemy of Govind’s guardians.
